The mission of Hope Community Church of the Nazarene is to "Be and Bring Hope to Our Community". Often, the word “hope” is used to mean “wishing” or “crossing our fingers.” However, when you look at how the Bible uses the word hope, we get a much more accurate picture. Mercury One is a humanitarian aid and education organization focused on restoring the human spirit. Our initiatives include providing programs to individuals to advance the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for communities to help themselves. We also assist our nation’s veterans, provide aid to those in crisis, and rebuild and restore the lives of Christians and other persecuted religious minorities in the Middle East.
Nightingales Harvest is a food and toiletry pantry established on May 27, 2011 with over 35 hundred families with a ratio of 3 family members per household. We feel Nightingales Harvest is unique because you always have a choice and you never just come and pick up your box. Nightingales Harvest has a partnership with Toledo organizational grows community garden. Nightingale Harvest also has its own cancer community garden on site where patients can pick fresh produce during prime seasons.
We offer over 70 academic programs and certificates to students who are preparing for a career, retraining for a new career, seeking professional development or obtaining credits to transfer to a four-year college or university - some while still in high school.
